Re: pony a yearling?
Use a rope halter and a LONG lead rope (10'). Do not tie the rope around
the horn on your saddle. Hold the rope at your knee so the yearling's head
stays behind your knee....if he gets in front of your ponying horse, you
have a wreck. And if he gets behind and the rope gets under your pony
horses tail, another wreck!!!!
