let me clarify something on this issue. First, the horse has been under saddle more than three times. He has been conditioned very regularly for the last couple of months. And the person that owns him is a very experienced multiday rider that many of you know and like. He has alot of miles under his belt and is one of the best and most patient riders I know. He is also one of the best horsemen I know. The horse was getting tired the last day, but was in good shape and he knew when it was time to quit. I have ridden with him and the horse on a regular basis. I personally know he spent half of the time on his own two feet and has the blisters to prove it. And Pat, he is in your club. And as usual in this forum, before you want to trash someone you should have all your facts staight and know what you are talking and who you are talking about.

I would not want someone like this in my club. What a jerk....to say the
least. And did no one chat with him about how inappropriate (not to mention
downright dangerous to his horse's well being) this was? What are his fellow
club members offering as advice?
