Now you can add Swanton Pacific to your list of classics.  It would be
lovely to have you come out here to SP.  It IS a long way to CA, but then
again, look how far people travel to OD and Tevis.  Talk to Maggy Price, who
has done SP twice, and Jerry Fruth, who brought his niece out one year, and
to Nancy Elliot, Sandy Schuler, Cory Soltau, Julie Suhr, et al.  I suppose
the only thing lacking in SP is a big after-ride party and expensive awards.
Would this be necessary in making a real classic?  We're not really party
people; we just put on a great ride.
