Re: Aussie saddles

Thanks Brittany,
Danny, my gelding, is 10 yrs old so I don't think he is going to grow
anymore!:) It takes A Lot of Arena work and caveletti to see tiny muscle
improvements...he is just a little type. How much are you asking for yours?
(my husband is just going to loooovvve this!) I can probably go into Syd
Hill website to see photo of model. I am assuming my saddle has the "surge
panels" as it is not fleece underneath. I am ordering an Equalizer pad with
shims for Danny. The next saddle needs to fit my other two, DeeDee 15 yr
active in endurance, and 2yr up and coming gelding. The are very similiar
body types. Then, just use shimmed pad for little Danny. He is not my
primary horse and I can't afford a saddle that is only going to fit him.
That is the other drawback of present Aussie saddle I just bought a month
ago. Had borrowed it last year for several months, but we were not riding
Danny this much/hard. We are now trying to ready him for LD work again.
Thanks for your input! I will check out the SydHill site to get more ideas.
Beth Gunn
