need advice about breeds

An e-mail I got in response to my earlier posting reminded me that I
did forget one major part of this equaton.  The mare should only be used
for breding if her conformation is good and if the heart murmur is not a
genetic thing.  I was assuming that would be a given, since that's the
way I'd do it.  But you know what happens when we "assume"...
