cows and bears and walmart bags ohmy!!

We set out this A.M. to have a nice ride. needless to say it came to a 
screeching halt. Haley my Hubbys horse saw EVERY thing today. She wasn't 
even trail leading. She began L@@king at Everything and stopping to look, it 
became so bad that we gave up and headed in. I thought it was the cows in an 
adjacent field. Nope even had one that resembled Mad Cow. She was mad too.. 
was none to happy about two horses with riders getting near HER fence. 
Ansata was more than willing to make a side of beef out of her. I must gloat 
here... She had the ears pinned and ready to take her on. Haley then acted 
as if she was bored to tears.
Coming back I thought well I will get off my horse and show Rob that he 
needs to be more firm... she tried to buck but didn't unseat me I kept her 
head up. He rode Ansata on to the pasture we keep them in I was going to go 
around the fence line and check things out. Haley stilled acted up and out 
like something was out to get her. Ansata was still leading trail. We went 
into wooded area and Haley never acted out again. She plodded home like an 
old work horse at the end of the day. But to make a long story short nothing 
was different from any other day. She was spooking at stuff that had been 
there forever and a day. Even the small round bale of hay that she rubs her 
head on. then she realized it was the head rubbing bale and continued to rub 
head.
Any ideers???? I am finding it harder and harder to work two horses, hubby 
is a green horne and has little time. We ride together or I will go by 
myself. I try to ride at least 2x per week now that I am really busy and 
winter is here.
We are considering a trainer to step in. We are in the northern Alabama 
area.
I am stummped here I have never seen a horse spook like she has today. I am 
hoping it was one of those walmart bags in the air day.
