Hey TI:
Believe it or not the endurance horse would rather go back out there on the 
trail and catch up to his buddies who left before he/she did.  This is how I 
know you've never been to an endurance ride.  Most of them are having too 
much fun and are too excited to graze.  It's that enduro horse adrenaline 
high that lasts alot longer than a lap around the racetrack.
I plan on trying some of your carb ideas and I'm starting to wonder about 
alot of us jumping on that fat thing too fast, but I feel you really need to 
get out and experience a couple of sanctioned endurance rides.  If you're not 
attending and learning out in the field, I will question your some of your 
theories, with respect to endurance.
