I recently called one of the ads in ridecamp and was one of the first
people
to reach the owner. I asked about the horse, TY is his name and he sounded
yada yada yada yada. . . .

I never ceases to amaze me the number of people who don't use their brain
and then must make someone else wrong so that they can be right. As soon
as you would ask to buy a horse from me I'd ask for payment. The horse is
for sale until he is paid for or under contract. I might even accept a
handshake if I liked you. Most of the time people miss out on a good buy
while they are trying to figure ways to get the seller to lower the price.
From the sound of your letter there is an even money bet that you would
have gotten the horse home and found something wrong with it anyway.
