Title: RE: Re: Re: hot/humid weather

At vet checks, I have a scraper, bucket (BIG) and a sponge.  Whatever I put on comes off with the scraper until the horse is cool.  At river crossings, I use the edge of my hand to sluice off the water, then apply more.  No high tech stuff here!  It would take too much time to dig things out & put them away after the river.

I appreciate your assistance.
I too remember articles but, was never able to define the "on and off"
situations/rational.  How does one do this during a ride? Only when one is
at Stops? . Do you scrape after a river? (Assuming the mount is thoroughly
wet). When does one carry the scraper?
