reward money
Brian paid for the airplane.
Then should we make donations to Brian? That had to hurt. Honestly,
it's very nice that everyone up there helped so much, but if Brian is out
a lot of money, I'd be more likely to try to help him out that some big
charity that probably gets big donations elsewhere.
Angie
Angie: What has happened is that Julie and Bob Suhr, because of time
constraints, agreed to guarantee $1,000.00 reward for the person or persons
finding Goofy provided that he was still alive. Nancy Elliott had the idea
originally and told Julie about it. The people who found Goofy do not want
to accept the reward at this time, however, we are hopeful that they will
change their minds. We are going to run the donations through the
Quicksilver Club and any checks should be made payable to Quicksilver
Endurance Riders, Inc. and marked for Brian's reward fund and sent to me at
1299 Sandra Drive, San Jose, CA 95125-3535. At the present time the idea is
to give Brian any money over the $1,000 to help defray the huge costs. We
will also provide him with the names [not the amounts] of everyone who
donated. If you have any other questions, give me a call.....Maryben
