long toe, low heel trip in spite of his "Natural Balance"

I forgot to mention that my old farrier also did another
Rocky Mountain Horse at my barn, she's kept barefoot.  He
insisted on trimming her very short even when the owner
asked otherwise.  She was ouchy on gravel too, and hadn't
been before (owner has been riding her for a year, barefoot
the whole time).  And one other thing, oddly enough after
the last shoeing on my horse I noticed that when he stood
still he looked pigeon toed although you couldn't notice it
when he moved.  Weird.
