I hope people keep in mind that just because a farrier may have a diploma
from someplace or even a "certification" of some sort that it doesn't
automatically make them "good".  Use common sense in interviewing
prospective farriers...experience and sensible answers to your questions
and a willingness to say "I don't know but I'll find out/learn" are
probably the best bets.
