Smelly 1

OK don't get funny!  I have a problem!  A dead skunk has been discovered 
on the trail near my Ranch.  It is almost unavoidable.  Do I watch it 
over the next weeks rot and smell forever or does anybody have a serious 
suggestion as to how to get it ota there?  For your input I have thought 
about taking a shovel and trying to bury it but I really don't want to 
distrub it for fear of the possible emissions.  Currently it is rainy 
and cool here in the Sierra Nevada foothills near Auburn California, and 
it will not decompose very fast.  When We rode past it today my dog and 
us riders rode up on the bank to avoid it that is a real pain too.  We 
all know about the possibilities of rabies etc.  Please only serious 
suggestions!
