Your horse's tail rubbing may be due to worms...
or maybe not.  If you see that he rubs just before he's due to be wormed
then do it more frequently. My vet reccomends the following rotation;
JAN= double dose of Panacur
MARCH= Strongid or Anthelcide
MAY= Eqvalan (ivermectrin)
JULY= Panacur
Sept= Strongid or Panacur
Nov= Eqvalan
Ot the rubbing may be due to an organism inblance on the skin:
Try Lotrimin AF powder (or spray)
You can buy it in the grocery store & it
kills the organism that causes Athlete's foot.
