Re: Martingale's Long

Now is probably a good time to go back through our posts and reread Angie's
Mission Statement Rules... a bunch of them are being violated big time
lately!! Ridecamp isn't just about educating, it's about SHARING and that is
what I have learned to appreciate most about my new endurance buddies... the
ones I am lucky enough to have regular personal contact with and the ones I
only "see" through cyberspace in my imagination... everyone is willing to
share and so far, not one seasoned endurance rider has tried to convert me to
ANYTHING or tell me I HAD to do things a certain way... it has always been,
hey... try this and see if it helps/works/makes sense or whatever... I have
had some great advice that helped me and some great advice that didn't. I
don't know everything (if I did, I wouldn't need Ridecamp!) but I KNOW WHAT
WORKS FOR ME AND MY HORSE...
sometimes, it's a martingale and sometimes it's a halter and some binder
twine... but whatever it is, that is what I love about this sport... no ONE
way to do things/dress/ use for equipment, etc... it is a sport for anyone and
everyone of any age, weight, height, income, breed of horse, well, you get it
by now!!! Angie's post was Thursday, January 7...I printed mine out and keep
it next to my computer! I think I followed all the rules but lately my
panties are feeling funny... too damn cold up here in Michigan to ride!!!!
