Re: BAD WEATHER GEAR
I have to ask this, "don't you sweat?" I find that if I'm wearing heavy duty
rain gear, I generate so much water from the inside out that I'm better off
not wearing any rain gear. Now, let's make this clear, that I'm talking
Calfornia. It does rain here and blow and get cold, but not like other parts
of the country. I've found that a little Gortex goes a long way; breathes,
doesn't make me sweat (oops typed swear the first time), and stays pretty
comfortable. I tend not to worry if my legs get wet, just suffer! of course,
the helmet works for the head covering party. Lots of oil on the saddle and I
don't worry about it rotting away beneath me. anyway, that's what works for
me.
