another attendee for symposium if we can raise the $$

Hey Ridecampers,

I volunteered yesterday to coordinate names of people wanting to attend 
this symposium and people willing to send some money to support them.
Vickie Smith has volunteered to come all the way from Vermont to attend,
but she also has money constraints.  I'm sure that as a group we can come
up with $490 to send 2 endurance people to this conference (Has any of
us not enjoyed riding on public land?.)   So keep the pledges flowing.
( I think it would be most efficient to e-mail all pledges to Angie, when
she reaches $245 for Betsy she can switch pledges back to me if she
likes.)

After reading on ridecamp about the symposium, I sent for a brochure.  I 
know that I can make the time to attend but am "iffy" about coming up with 
the cash.  I will be looking for some sponsors on my own but don't know if 
I'll have any success.  I have attended meetings for formulating a "Plan" 
for the Green Mountain National Forest and tried to make sure that riders 
are given "equal time" to present their intentions.  It is imperative that 
we/horse people start organizing a united front rather than acting 
independently as most of us are accustommed!  I would appreciate being 
added to your list.  Thanks for thinking about it.
