Old Dominion?

Angie, Angie, listen to me: you are being swayed by myths. The trail
is well marked -- yes, there has been vandalism, and last year the
front-runners stopped to remark the trail, and no one got lost.
Management has made superhuman efforts to make the ride a wonderful
experience for everyone. The pit crew directions are detailed and
clear. There are lots of people here to help you out -- including me,
a fellow ridecamper. I promise you that you will have a wonderful
experience. I have completed the OD 100 three times -- I've been 5th,
11th and the Turtle .... and it doesn't matter where you finish...
This is the ride I dream about and train for all year long. You can't
miss it...the early morning mist rising over the Shendandoah River at
McCoys's Ford ... the incredible views from the top of the mountains
... the haunting cry of the whipporwhils in the moonlight as you
gallop into Bear Wallow ... yes, the ride is difficult, but it isn't
*unfair* -- it's the trail that George Washington rode into Fort
Valley to prepare for the possibility of a surrender. You're riding
through history -- and very likely making some history of your own.
Don't deny yourself this opportunity.
The carpet will still be there when you get back -- but there is only
one Old Dominion.
Old Dominion? Yes, you can!
Bobbie and Ms Fine -- loaded and ready
