I really have to agree with Roberta.  Fort Valley is a piece of cake for
pit crews to get around.  I rode by myself when I did it in 94 and had no

problems with the trail.  If I can follow a trail anyone can.  The crew -

especially the vets - were wonderful.  And galloping along the
Shaendandoah River just after the break of dawn with the mist rising off
the river was so beautiful it brought tears to my eyes.  If we weren't
trying to build this damn house and could have gotten Jordy ready, I
would be there.  But you can be sure we will be there next year.

The OD is not a ride - it is an experience.
