Just wondering about how most horses would react to having a gun go off on 
             their back. Perhaps the horses need to be trained to tolerate that if their 
             rider is going to blasting away while mounted. -Amy


ten-four....I shoot ground-hogs from my deck overlooking my pasture.  I can see the horses and they sure can hear the gun.  They hardly lift a head now...after several years of this and by my taking trips down to the "kill" site and sometimes having to "finish one off".

Haven't tried to shoot from a horse's back yet.  But I know they won't run if I am on the ground.
