Linda, something to consider.

First-Congraulations to the TEAM for winning the Silver!  With all that can go wrong in a 100 mile race it is no mean feat.

Secondly-Picking a team from the squad is not as easy as it might seem to you if you have not been involved.  Since neither of us was there and not privy to all available info, second guessing is even harder.  Just a couple of thing to consider since you questioned the abscence of Valerie and Danielle.  Rumor has it that Jedi had a tying up incident very recently-if true it would be hard for me to select him for the team.  Perhaps Danielle told the Chef that she really wanted to try to repeat as Champion and thus was not willing to ride as a team member. (This is not a fact or even speculation, but something that goes into selecting a team that you might not be aware of) .
 
Just curious-how many 100 milers have you completed, attempted, crewed for?
