Please...I'm not Just a Dealer !

Hey guys,
I mentioned a "dealer" in Florida that makes the biothane bit loops. Got
this letter from her. She doesn't remember me...guess those people who
come up after you've packed all your stuff and get you to climb in head
first and dig to the bottom of the pile so they can buy a $2 pair of bit
loops don't make much of a permanent impression. Yep, it was at Million
Pines.
Angie

Angie,
A customer of mine read your message in "ridecamp" and informed me
that you put a nice "plug" in for me. I try to read the messages, but
can't keep up with them all.........am running about 2 weeks behind
right now.
So being curious, I just saw your mention of a "Biothane dealer in
Florida" that has Bit loops or keepers made of Biothane.
It's bad enough that J. Lyons overlooked me in his August article
about Biothane tack, and now you!
My dear.....................my name is Jean McKain, my address is
12825 NE 9th St., Silver Springs, FL 34488, my phone # is 352-625-6663,
Fax 352-625-5235, Email Jean@highermark.com my web site
at http://www.highermark.com
You are not in my records, and seeing that you are from GA. you
apparently have seen me at Wesley Crowes, Million Pines Ride and that is
where you must have seen the bit loops.
This weekend I had my mini van and all my Biothane tack and supplies
stolen in Tampa while I was attending the Fl Horse & Ag Festival. The
Police recovered my van Monday; it has been towed to Ocala where it will
be repaired. Apparently, older vans without alarms are prime targets
for stealing and using for weekend robberies...........now they tell me!

Roughly figuring, I lost about $5000 as I have no "business"
insurance. As you can imagine, being that it has taken me about 10 years
to get where I am with this non-paying occupation, I'm not a very happy
camper. But at least I have my van back and I have plenty of "raw
materials" to keep on sewing. And I have a web site and email advantage
this year...................lots to look forward to, right?
So please Angie, if you ever mention anything good about
me.........remember who I am and put my name up in
print............every little bit helps.

I also invite you to take a look at my
site..............a little formal for "trail" people, but I also make
equipment for Mounted Patrol, English, Schooling, Racing, and Paso
Finos. No Harness...........but now with the new "Beta Series" that
BioPlastics introduced I do have Driving Reins....So I feel I need a
more formal approach as other "pages" for these areas are introduced in
the future................Everything is custom, made especially for YOU
andYOUR HORSE. Size charts on site are printable as well as the Order
form.
Was up to the Liberty Run this Fall and it was good to me. Hope to
make it to Wesley's in the Spring.............if you make it there,
please look me up and introduce yourself.

Take care,
                                                        Jean from Higher
Mark
