If EN costs them $40/person to write and print, then they are vastly
over-paying someone. For that kind of money, we should be getting something
of the quality of National Geographic!

I think the problem is that they spend money in the carefree manner of
politicians, secure in the knowledge that they can always pass another fee
increase and the members will keep ponying up the bucks. And of course they
always do, rather than getting up on their hind legs and refusing. If
members expressed their displeasure in unison and threatened to quit
altogether, they wouldn't keep getting away with this nonsense (and neither
would the government!)
