Jen, have you been able to browse our Trails list yet? If not, there is
some basic info there... http://www.foothill.net/natalies/TRAILS.HTM

Do you have a copy of Hal Hall's book about the Tevis? It's about 50pp
long and is chock full of trail notes and historical info. I'm helping
put together the new web site for the Tevis, and Hal will perhaps come
up with a web version soon.

Til then, the paper version is available direct from the Tevis office:
WSTF, 701 High Street, #228-C, Auburn, CA 95603. It costs about
US$5.00. Here's their Phone: (916) 823-7282 | Fax: (916) 823-7901 |
email: wstf@foothill.net

Riding the WS trail out of Foresthill is really quite easy. There's
plenty of easy parking for your rig on the side street that leads to the
trail. It is possible to do a loop ride, coming back out from
Francisco's through Todd Valley Estates, but you would need someone
along who knows the route. If you hate backtracking, have someone drive
your rig and meet you at Drivers Flat, at the Quarry (Hwy 49) crossing,
or at the overlook/fairgrounds. Check the trails list cited above for
ride distances.

Picking up the trail from Francisco's can be done via Drivers Flat.
Again, the crewing of your trailer to some place downstream will make
for a nicer ride.

If you need someone local to drive your rig, let us know. We can provide
or hook you up with someone else in the area.

/Richard
