[RC] Attn: Cuyama Pioneer XP Riders - Kchaton

If you signed up for this years ride and have not yet gotten a response back yet from Dave, rest assured that he is working on it and got slightly sidetracked by the Eastern Mojave Ride! It another week goes by and you haven't heard anything back contact him or myself (karen at xprides.com) and we'll make sure everything is squared away and you get the information you need. There are several riders that we know have not been responded to yet, and we know that.

For those interested in the Cuyama ride but have not yet entered and don't know how things work the first step is to submit an entry online at: http://www.xprides.com/RideEntry.html Be sure that you actually "select ride from dropdown list". You will receive an email newsletter back (hopefully now you'll get that back within a couple of days) with details on where to send in your deposit to hold your entry. You must do this to be accepted into the ride. Last minute entries on this ride are not accepted and in fact riders were denied entry last year that had already left to drive to the ride because they didn't follow these instructions. It is VERY IMPORTANT that the rules are followed as they will absolutely be enforced, no exceptions. Please let your friends know that wish to attend this ride that they need to get the ball rolling if they want to attend this ride.

This ride and Lost Padres are the only two limited entries rides that the Duck (Dave) does that need to be pre-entered with deposits and in the case of Lost Padres a signed release form. For that ride you won't be allowed onto the ranch property if that release hasn't been signed and received back a week before the ride. Entries for LP can also be submitted online at: http://sunriseranchrides.com/RideEntry.html Note that the ride date has been moved up from previous years. This year the date is April 25 & 26, 2009.
