I use neoprene knee braces, I think they are Ace brand. I have tried a couple other types but these seem to lay the smoothest, stay in place and cause the least friction. I did find out the hard way, last year at Tin Cup Springs, not to use them in the steady/hard rain. It took a couple months for those sores to heal. Hope this helps...
