[RC] Qualification questions - Roxi Anderson

I need some help please.  The way I'm understanding the rules for the qualification procedure is this:

A novice horse has to complete either 2-LD's  and 2-50's or 3 50's in order to enter an FEI star event.  These rides have no mandatory rest period so can be accomplished at a multi-day competition (rule 816.1).  The horse is then eligible to move through the star system however once competing in the star system there is a mandatory rest period (rule 815.3) depending on the distance of competition.

My question is am I accurate in thinking multi-day rides can be used to qualify the horse.  I guess I should that I know a horse needs more then 150 miles before competing at the 100 mile level.

Thank you,
Roxi
