So far I have recieved about two dozen replies to my "survey". Except for one responder who said she doesn't particularly like white stockings and wouldn't breed for them, the overwhelming response was either absolutely no issue with white socks or a lot who prefer sorrels with white socks. Those who have or have had horses with white socks have not had any more issues with scratches than they've had with horses with no white socks. HURRAY! Now I can get another horse!!! ;-)
