RE: [RC] re: AHA championship trail - Kristen A Fisher

How about calling it "A hell of a lot easier than done by hand."

Take the Trail Master course, watch 12 people spend 4 hours working on 100' of trail the way it's supposed to be done. Then recall there are 2,640 stretches of 100' sections in a 50 mile ride.

You'll be begging for mechanized trail improvement.

LOL, but what else do you call work done with a bulldozer, even a small one? Winking smile emoticon

In defense of Cindy, I would mildly point out that the term “bulldoze” does sound rather… um… harsh when used in connection with the Great Outdoors…  Perhaps the words “improve” or “repair” would have been better.  J   Written first impressions are almost as misleading as visual first impressions! J  Now, everyone sit back with a big bowl of ice cream and relax!!  ;-)
