[RC] Insulin Resistance & Cushings - Naomi PrestonI wanted to add to Karen Chaton's excellent info in
IR in horses. There is an awesome Yahoo group called
Equine Cushings -- Equine Cushings and Insulin Resistance, with an
library full of files full of current information. It is
also affiliated with Dr. Eleanor Kellon, who teaches an online class on
Cushings and Insulin Resistance. One just started a couple weeks ago,
and you might still be able to get in. The next class starts in

classes is that you can ask her any questions about your particular horse
and its issues. Some vets differ somewhat on their recommendations for
Cushings and IR, but Dr. Kellon is up on the latest research, and a leading
authority.
