[RC] Adding poleys to saddle - Jennifer Fleet

Hi all,

I was wondering if anybody out there has had poleys added to their endurance saddles?   Particularly, a Desoto?   Marilyn (from Desoto Saddles) is now adding poleys  if requested.   She said I can ship my saddle back to her and she can add them and have it back to me rather quickly.  It sounds like a great idea to me (I have a gelding that does the drop-and-spin thing) and she has sent me pictures of some saddles she has added them to and they look pretty sturdy and nicely done.   I'm just leery of altering my saddle and I'm afraid of not liking something in front of my leg when I'm not used to it.  My saddle is super-comfy as-is, but the added security of poleys sure is temtping for those unexpected spins.

If anybody has had them added, please let me know if you liked them or not, and if it was hard to get used to.  I think I might feel kind of trapped with something in front of my thigh all the time....?

Thanks!
Jennifer
