[RC] Heater - Bruce Weary DC/Carrie - Kitley, Carrie E Civ USAF AFSPC 30 MDSS/SGSLF

AHAHA! Love this, Bruce. I have the RJ model. Unfortunately, it
requires much more energy/feeding than the DW, I assure you. The
heating output is always efficient though in relation to the cost of
energy. No difficulties at all with the "on" switch. =)
~Carrie

My heater is a "DW" brand, manufactured in La Mesa, Ca., in 1962. Even
though it's getting close to 50 years old, it works great both in the
motor home
and at the house when I need it. Sometimes it is a little difficult to
turn on, but it turns off quite easily. It doesn't require either
propane or electricity to produce heat. In ten years, it has only gotten
dangerously hot a few times. The "DW" brand stands for Dayna Weary.
The only downsides are that it weighs about 125 lbs, and I have to buy
it dinner every now and then. Oh, and it makes
a bitchin' standing rib roast. :)) Dr Q
