[RC] Generator and Solar Panel? - Alan Kay

Ok all you solar experts - My LQ trailer has two 12V deep cycle batteries, off which only 12V things run. It has a generators to run the 110V stuff (love that convection oven!!) and recharge the batteries. Currently I need to run the generator about an hour each day to recharge the batteries. My question: WIll having a solar panel make a difference in how often I have to run the generator just to recharge the batteries? If so, what size panel would be appropriate?
