[RC] Questions and Answers for New Vets 13 July 2009, Truman - Tom Sites

Hello Truman, Your post on the above referenced title keeps popping up as the first post of a new week on the archives, just like fhall's did for a spell.  Orginally i missed it but since its comes up so often and regularly i thought i'd throw out some input.

You said that the Ridgway Trot has been used for over 20 years.  In fact Dr. Ridgway was on the GAHR and we used the Ridgway Trot then 32 years ago.  The article refers to a "Ridgway Test".  I had never heard of it in that form tho i thought the article was very informative and the best description of the CRI i have seen in print.

This has come up in the past and i even said that it was Kerry that orginated the Ridgway Trot or the CRI.  It was Maryben that said it was in fact Dr. Jim Speer who orginated this test.  I do not know and maybe MB can allude to what she alluded too years ago about this tests creator.

Hope to see you at the Highlands and share the float trip with you.  Which gets me to another topic.  I always was in a hurry and never got to see the surrounding area and enjoy its beauty.  Hopefully people will come early enough to see and enjoy just what this area has to offer.  Did i mention its the highest point in Va. and that on the 27th, Mars will be the size of a full moon?  Its gonna be cool as ice....ts
