I have been trying to figure out what the main differences are between the Big Horn and the Tevis...trying to figure out why more people don't make a goal of the big Horn instead of, or as well as the Tevis..And why it seems people who have done the Tevis are more apt to go try it again than those who have done the Big Horn (might not be the case.) For me the big horn is a much more beautiful ride, the trail is as difficult as the tevis, not nearly as scary as far as drop offs. Lots of other differences..maybe people who go back to the Tevis like the security of all the people, both on the trail and the volunteers. You're pretty much on your own on the Big Horn. Sure would be great if more people would have the Big Horn on their Bucket List!
