Today is the Hotter Than Hell ride near Claremore Oklahoma. Ride Management called it Hotter Than Hell, and advertised it as such. The current temp at 7:40 am is 57 degrees. The forecast high for the day is 85 degrees. Is that Hotter Than Hell??? I think not... Shame on them for misleading the poor riders who expected and hoped for typical Oklahoma July triple diiget temps:-). Wish I was there. Bet they are having a great time. It just goes to show that you make your plans for a ride and forget about worrying what the weather will do. It will all work out.
