RE: [RC] Big Snake - Ranelle Rubin

Bruce,

I am with you. After having my horse do a 180 on a section of the Tevis trail just uphill from Kaput Springs after running into a Rattlesnake...there are plenty to go around these hills, thanks.

Even when I tried scaring it off the trail so we could get by, it came toward us...we decided our goal of riding from Foresthill to the Swinging Bridge and back was not to be had that day..:(

I would like to see someone plant a bunch of King Snakes up there. One lady I know said her horse was drinking from Kaput Springs one day and a Rattler dropped out of the ferns into the water in front of his nose!!!
