As a diabetic, I also carry a small tube of glucose tablets. ?Sour apple flavor from WalMart is my personal favorite.

Some really great ideas coming from this topic!? I'm making a list.? :)
Among these, I always keep a couple packets of GOO in my saddle bags in
case I get too hungry or light-headed.? If you can get past the taste,
it's great for prolonging your energy level.? Lots of similar items on
the market today for runners and avid cyclists.
