Re: [RC] re: Trakenhners - mspattykirkI have a half arab /trakenhner gelding that has just turned 4. He was trained by a dressage trainer and I have been riding him out on the trails. He's wonderful to ride and I hope to do some limited distance rides on him later this year. I don't want to push him too fast because he's still growing. I think the arab-trakenhner cross makes for a great all around athletic horse. Just my opinion. Happy Trails to all. My friends use them in dressage, eventing and jumping. I'd love to try one in endurance, but they are way out of my price range.
