[RC] '03 F 350 w/6.0 liter engine - susan cooper
We have had nothing but trouble with this truck every time we load it down.
The engine light comes on, it belches black smoke, and hesitates. We just went
down to Death Valley and back, and hubby and I decided we were getting rid of
it, even tho this disiel engine only has 80,000 miles on it. Then looking at
new trucks, we decided fixing it constantly is cheaper than another truck
payment. The truck will be paid off next year, and we were looking forward to
several years of no payments.
Anyone else with this engine (that they only made for 3 years which says
something). Did you keep it? Is there a permanent fix for it? Did it ever
become reliable?
