[RC] 2 questions: Heart Monitor and Hi-Tie Contraptions - marybdvm

Once more to the well for advice.

Where is the best place to put the transmitters for a Polar HRM? I
have the type with the bigger part in the middle and two smaller parts
all attached by a wire. I thought I was supposed to put the two
smaller parts under the girth on either side of the horse but my mare
gets very sore if I do that. I scanned the website but didn't find that
info.

Part two: Any new opinions on the "best" one of the various Hi-Tie
sort of mechanisms? Safest, most comfortable and most reliable? Problems
installing? I've looked through the archives and Karen's comparison
chart. Appears that the Hi-Tie System is recommended by most

Happy Earth Day!

Mary B.
