[RC] epona shoes - www.rockyoakscabin.com

I just put epona shoes on the back of my horse. Eponashoes are plastic- shoes and my horse is having those shoes in the front for years, but never in the back.
I took him out for a ride today and he was moving like on eggshells and by the end of the ride he also was pretty sore in his hind legs. I called my farrier right
away to put steel-shoes back on him tomorrow, because I want to ride Los Padres next weekend. My farrier also placed the eponas behind the white-line of the
hoof for better break-over and it appeared to me that it was almost to far back. Has any of your guys experience with the horse walking like on eggshells after
shoeing? Because I am very concerned about it. I rode my horse a few days ago before he was shoed and he was fine. I really appreciate your input.
Thanks Gabriele
