[RC] Dogs On Horseback - Benedikte Webb-Whitman

Dear Riders,

How many of you out there have dogs that will ride with you on horseback? If
you do, would you tell me how that came about, how they ride, and if you have
to have something spercial for them to hold on to?

My terrier is a little fireplug. Not fat, just stocky and muscular. She is
about the size of most 8 - 12 pound dogs and weighs 20 (thighs Arnold S. would
drool over). When I went riding with her recently, she really got overheated
and so I would like for her to be able to take a break on the horse from time
to time to prevent that. My other dog is a Border Collie with more stamina
than any of that breed I have ever seen (and I have had a lot of them).

Thanks for your help,
Benedikte
