Ed listed several advantages if AERC were to sanction CTR-type rides. All except the fees and possible additional memberships can be accomplished by RMs simply holding both events over the same trails on the same dates. They do not need AERC's permission to do this. RATs often share the trail with Endurance rides. So could CTRs.
