I fed Teff for two years before moving to NV..my horses loved it and did very well on it. It was half their diet, as I do not believe in feeding only one kind of hay. The other half was divided into a 3 grain and Alfalfa (never more than 25% Alfalfa).
Still feeding same program, but with a nice grass hay instead of Teff. I recommend bringing home a couple bales before buying a load though, as some horses that are picky have turned their nose up at it.
