[RC] Does pepper spray work? - shermanTitle: MessageI wouldn't use it on
a spinning horse either, but if I could get it out and spray BEFORE the action
started, especially with a pit bull, I would. I would NOTlet a loose pit bull
move in close to me or my horse before taking action. I'd assume the dog was
moving in for a vicious attack, even if it's owner were in the
proximity. Too many pit bull owners can only stand by helplessly
while their dogs attack. And yes, the stream spray, not the mist. A
neighbor was attacked by a dog and used her mist spray, a puff of wind pushed it
into her face and all she could do was blindly try to kick the dog off her foot
while she screamed for help. Fortunately, she wasn't hurt, but sure learned a
lesson about which pepper spray to carry.
