Re: [RC] Fwd: BIOTHANE GIRTH - Elizabeth Walker

Since Angie said it is for a Western style cinch, it isn't going to work for an English style, which has billet straps - at least, not without a converter.

For an English style, I don't think making a converter would be worth it.

those look like nice girths, however, if you have two billet straps, which one would you use? Front or rear or something different?

I first found one called a Quick Cinch on ebay about 10
years ago. I couldn't find anybody else at the time who
made them, so had local Amish make me several. They are all
I use. Guess I'll have to see what it'll cost to
have Teddy send me one in Qatar!

What type of saddle does that fit? I've never seen a
girth that looked like that one.

A source for biothane girths?? - jt

Begin forwarded message:

John, I have searched through the vendors and can’t find a
biothane girth. I bought one a few years ago and can’t
recall from whom.

It is biothane with a strap that buckles back to
itself on both sides. Awesome, I want a couple more but
can’t locate who sells them.

Thanks for your help.
