My experience is different. I do feed supplements, so that certainly affects how much hay Caisson eats. Figuring in the supplements, he gets probably 17 lbs total per day (840 lb horse). As I said in a previous post, he has had in front of him all the time - he just doesn't eat it.

At rides - he eats less than at home. He tends to not eat all his supplements - regardless of whether I have elytes in them or not, and seems to go light on the hay.
