[RC] mud solution - anchoring - Laney - Dawn Simas

<<How do you tack it down around the edges?>>

With large stakes. They have a name, but I don't know it. They look like giant nails with ahead on them, 1/4 inch diameter by 8" long approx? You get them at the hardware store.

The original guy (that went out of business) would attach loops on the underside of the perimeter of the fabric every 3-4'. Then he'd nail these through the loop, the head would hold the loop down. And the fabric was on top of it so they couldn't work their way up or out. I hope this makes sense to you, hard to explain. As I said, I did this last install myself with Bob Ford's help and we experimented with other ways, including just nailing the stake through it. My ground is firm and packed, not loose soil. The head shows on the surface of the fabric, but I will just watch them to see if they stay down and if not, I will redo them the way the other guy did, it will just be a bit more work, so I wanted to see if it was necessary. :)

I cannot speak for Bob, I don't know what he will provide.  The previous business owner would install it for a nominal fee if you were reasonably local.  Or if you were not local and wanted to install it yourself, he would ship a precut section with the loops already attached, with instructions and stakes.
