[RC] Myler Combo Bit? - Sharon Levasseur

Zephyr's been doing ok in a Jim Warner hackamore, but lately he fights pretty hard for the first 15-20 miles. We're working with the behavioral side, but I want to also try using a bit for the first loop.

I called Myler, and they recommended their combination bit with the 3-ring shanks and #04 low-port comfort snaffle mouthpiece.

Before I lay down some serious coin, does anyone have a Myler 5" combo bit (with that mouthpiece) that I can try?? Even if it doesn't have the same shanks I think it will tell me what I need to know.

Heck, failing that, does anyone have a 5" #04 comfort snaffle I could borrow? I expect he'll be more fussy about the mouthpiece than anything else.

Thanks,
-Sharon L. in Maine
